GETTING TO KNOW GETTING TO KNOW NICK GREEN Better known as " Grimm Green" Patrick V*: Let's start off with an ice-breaker. You may already know this, but the words "vape" and "binge-watch" became official words in the Oxford Diction- ary on the exact same day (August 14, 2014). What is your favorite show to binge- watch? Nick: For a while my favorite show was Battlestar Galactica. Now, Sons of Anarchy for sure. I also like more light hearted fun shows. I could watch 30 Rock over and over and over and over. Patrick V*: Where were you born and where do you live now? Do you think that your views on vaping are influenced by the area of the country you live in? Or would they be the same no matter where in the USA you resided? Nick: I was born in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. It was a wonderful area to grow up in for sure. Currently, I live over the valley in Carson. It's a very, very small town. I'm pretty sure that back in 2009 I might have been the only vaper within 100 miles. It wasn't until 2014 that we actually got our first legit VapeShop here. We're slowing growing a nice little vaping community here. I have a feeling if had lived in a bigger city like NYC or LA I would have already been part of a huge community, rather than trying to forge one from scratch. Patrick V*: Tell us about your career before embarking on your vaping-related endeav- ors. Nick: For the last 12 years I've worked for a VERY large coffee company. I'm a tried and true coffee geek / snob at this point as well. It kind of comes with the territory. More specifically, I actually roast the coffee. Patrick V*: Are you still active in this career, or has vaping stuff become your full-time job? Nick: Unfortunately, vaping has not become my full time job yet. I am hoping to make that leap VERY soon though. Patrick V*: What was your history with smoking before you starting vaping? Nick: I started smoking in 7th grade, which is crazy, because now a days even an 18 year old in a vape shop looks WAY too young to me. I smoked on and off my whole life after that until 2009 when I got my first kit. I loved smoking and I just assumed I would smoke my whole life until it killed me. Patrick V*: Do you remember the first you saw someone vaping? if so, what was your reaction?
