Patrick V*: What is your favorite show (if any) to binge-watch? Blake: There are shows that are a 'must- watch' for me and my wife, such as Survivor, Blacklist, Scorpion, The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy. Patrick V*: Where were you born and where do you live? - Do you think that your views on vaping are influenced by the area of the country you live in?, or would they be the same no matter where in the USA you resided? Blake: I was born in Panama City, Florida and moved to Alabama when I was a year old. I've pretty much lived here my whole life, other than a couple years in California and Washington. My views on vaping have nothing to do with where I live, but more so how I was raised. I was brought up to care for others, and it's a natural instinct to want to help. Although, my wife believes I can be an ass sometimes, I'm a huge softy, and my passion for vaping has really made that soft side shine. Patrick V*: Tell us about your career before embarking on your vaping-related endeav- ors. Blake: I've pretty much done it all job wise. My Brother In-Law used to always tease me that I'm "the jack of all trades, but the master of none." I did various types of construction work from the time I was 15. I then partnered with a few friends online to run multiple websites that I would manage and write content for. Patrick V*: Are you still active in this career, or has vaping stuff become your full-time job? Blake: To express both my new found passion for vaping and writing, I created GuideToVaping.com. The blog was made with the intent of merely helping others transition to electronic cigarettes easier than I did, and to fill that urge of wanting to tap away at my keyboard. Those two passions eventually allowed me to work on my blog full-time, as well as writing for other blogs and e-cigarette companies. Patrick V*: What was your history with smoking before you started vaping? Blake: I was just like any other smoker, I started smoking at a young age because my friends were doing it. For some reason I thought smoking made me look cool and I did it to fit in. Later down the road it became not-so-cool and more of a habit that I couldn't shake.
